My Story

Jasmine is a Punjabi/Bengali - Australian multi-hyphenate born and raised in regional Queensland. She tells stories about navigating and thriving in two cultures and finding your own voice when it doesn’t match the voices around you. She was a published author at the age of 9 when she wrote and illustrated a children's picture book, ‘The Tale of Lucy Goosey’ and has continued to write both novels and screenplays.

As an actress she has shined in productions such as The Edge, The Gorge and A Royal in Paradise. Her dedication and commitment to the craft of acting and story-making makes her a magnetic and versatile performer, bringing passion to each role.

She also optioned and sold her first two shows - the first to a major US network and the other to a local production company. She has since continued to create, working on, Blue Sparrow Entertainment’s 'Finding Addison' which won Best Short Film at the AACTAs in 2024.

In 2024 she produced, wrote, directed and starred in the short film ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ and she has another feature and short film set to go into production in 2025.

Jasmine was also the lucky recipient of a scholarship to the Rocaberti Writer's retreat in July 2024 where she was mentored by the likes of Diane Drake, Martin Olson, Judi Levine and Stan Zimmerman.

Recognising the importance of keeping both her body and mind fit as well, Jasmine trains Krav Maga, earning her blue belt in 2025. She is also completing her WSET sommelier certification and studying a Bachelor of Law (honours), graduating in July 2025.
